Two-Way Hand: A hand that can be played for both high and low.

Up: A card dealt with its pips "face up" so that its value can be viewed by all players. Cards that are dealt face up are called Upcards.

Wild Cards: Cards designated as "wild" can be given any value, even as a duplicate of a card already held, by the holder of that card.
